But here the story is about something else: a creepy experiment leads a hapless soldier to Backrooms, where he has to go through several levels, meet dangerous creatures and try to get back. Explore, hide, listen to every suspicious sound, especially footsteps.... Most importantly, survive. KARJALA is a horror game set in the Soviet Backrooms world. The game is based on a popular internet creepypasta about an unusual place where a person gets trapped and is lost for days, months and years. All of this is flavored with the atmosphere of Karelian forests and Soviet aesthetics.
